About

Goals

  • Increase student engagement by sharing teaching and course design strategies utilizing the latest tech tools
  • Connect teaching faculty and staff with similar teaching and/or content roles and interests
    • Initiate peer partnerships and communities of learners
  • Promote the use of the Technology for Teaching website and campus resources for teaching/course design
  • Inform staff and faculty on the support services offered on campus to effectively integrate technology into teaching and course design

The Tech4Teach Fair is an annual opportunity for instructors & students to:

  • SHARE how they use technology to enhance engagement & learning
  • LEARN how others on campus effectively utilize technology to enhance engagement & learning
  • GROW via connecting & developing purposeful learning relationships with students & instructors on campus

Fair-style Format

  • Academic fairs are designed to be intense, energetic, engaging & to provide short informative experiences to stimulate subsequent engagement & learning with peers/colleagues
  • Research strongly suggests that significant change in Higher Education occurs from either peer to peer collaboration & the establishment of communities of practice. We hope the Fair can initiate both?!
